Manuel Pellegrini is wary of Crystal Palace’s attack, he told a press conference via the West Ham official website. Crystal Palace are in good form ahead of this Saturday’s clash at The London Stadium.
Fifth-place West Ham go into the game with a six-game unbeaten streak in the league. But Palace have surprised a few, rising to ninth with three wins and two draws in their seven matches.
Pellegrini has pinpointed the Eagles’ danger area. The West Ham boss has identified the attacking line as Crystal Palace’s main threat. And he name-dropped three dangerous players in Roy Hodgson’s squad.
Manuel Pellegrini on Crystal Palace’s threat

Pellegrini told a press conference (via whufc.com): “They will be a very difficult team because they have very good players, especially in attack. It is not only Wilfried Zaha. They have very good players up front. Jordan Ayew is having a good season and they have Andros Townsend, and a lot of good players who can make a difference.”
Zaha is the obvious danger man in Hodgson’s locker. The Ivory Coast winger was linked with a big-money move to a top European club in the summer after impressing for Palace consistently.
However, Pellegrini is right to warn his players about Townsend and Ayew. These two can often slip under the radar and hurt teams. But if the Hammers defence is alert, they can limit the impact of the opposition.
