The Hammers have been in fine form during pre-season so far.
On the whole, David Moyes would have been very pleased with what he’s seen.
And despite the lack of new signings, so will the West Ham fans.
One player who seems ready to explode this season is Said Benrahma. The 25-year-old has been very, very good during the last three pre-season games.

Manuel Lanzini praises West Ham teammate
The Algerian winger has made a big statement during pre-season so far. He’s scored two superb goals against Celtic and Brentford and it looks like he’s in great shape.
And Lanzini praised Benrahma, when speaking to WHUFC.com yesterday:

“For Said it’s good. He is training very well and playing very well too. He has the quality, we know this, and we know he can help the team with assists and with goals. For us that’s very important because these goals will help his confidence.”
Benrahma clearly suffered from a lack of confidence last season.
The more goals and assists he racks up, however, the more he will feel comfortable playing in the Premier League.
The Algerian is clearly good enough, he just needs to know that Moyes has full belief, trust and faith in him.
