Jurgen Klopp reportedly wants to sell 2017 signing, he'd fit Moyes's West Ham vision perfectly

Liverpool are prepared to sell talented youngster Yasser Larouci this summer for a cut-price fee according to the Evening Standard. And the 19-year-old winger would fit David Moyes’ vision at West Ham perfectly.

The Hammers boss has repeatedly insisted over the past few months that he wants to bring young, hungry and talented players to the London Stadium over the next few transfer windows.

Moyes absolutely must strengthen his left-back department this summer. Aaron Cresswell has regressed badly this season and Arthur Masuaku really isn’t good enough to be playing regularly for a Premier League side.

With that in mind, Reds ace Yasser Larouci would be perfect for West Ham.

The Evening Standard claims that Jurgen Klopp will allow the player he signed in 2017 to leave Anfield for a cut-price fee. It is also suggested that Leeds and Brentford want to sign the young full-back.

Big future in the game

The French youngster was signed as a winger by Liverpool. But he has been converted into an attacking left-back at Liverpool.

He has racked up two assists and one goal in 19 games for the Reds’ youth team this season (Transfermarkt).

Larouci clearly has a lot of talent.

Liverpool’s correspondent for the Athletic James Pearce spoke highly of the teenager during a recent appearance on the Red Agenda podcast:

“Larouci has made big strides forward. He’s an interesting one in itself because he’s a player who came in as an attacker, as a real pacy, strong winger with an eye for goal. The staff felt that actually he would be better suited to the left-back role, especially in the Klopp mould where so much of it is providing that attacking outlet. They felt they could work with him and work on his defensive game and he’s another one that’s come on a lot.”

With West Ham in desperate need of an athletic, attacking young left-back, and Liverpool reportedly willing to sell Larouci for a cut-price fee, the Frenchman and the Hammers could be a match made in heaven
