Joe Cole named Felipe Anderson when talking to 90 Min about the quality West Ham have in their squad on Friday.

At the time, the Hammers legend’s comments were highly debatable, considering the Brazilian’s woeful campaign thus far.
But now after yesterday’s defeat to Wolves, they seem to be even more wide of the mark.
Cole told 90 Min that he thinks his former club will stay up because of players like Anderson:
“The group of players there are really talented, I was speaking to [Mark] Noble at the start of the season and there’s a lot of talent in that team. Your Andersons, your Declan Rices, I think they’ll stay up.”
The 27-year-old winger was arguably West Ham’s worst player yesterday. In truth, he was absolutely woeful.
David Moyes put Anderson out of his misery and hauled him off after 67 minutes. The only bad thing about that for Hammers fans was the fact that the Scot didn’t do it sooner.
The Brazilian seems to be living off his final two seasons with Lazio where he racked up 13 goals and 21 assists in 73 games (Transfermarkt).
He certainly hasn’t lived up to his £35 million price-tag (The Telegraph) since joining West Ham.
It is simply lazy to class Anderson as one of the Hammers’ best players now. His form doesn’t suggest that he is. And on top of that, his confidence is at an all-time low.
Most West Ham fans would prefer to see someone like Nathan Holland given a chance at the moment in place of the South American.
Hammers fans love Joe Cole. But he quite simply got it wrong here.
