Over the past few weeks, West Ham fans have been torn over who to start as the centre-forward: Javier Hernandez or Marko Arnautovic.

After Arnautovic tried to force a move to China in the January transfer window, Manuel Pellegrini has made a point and dropped him to the bench.

The Austrian had not started a game since his January transfer saga, with Javier Hernandez preferred in the striker role.

But after the Mexican struggled against a physical Cardiff City side in last weekend’s 2-0 loss, he was benched with Arnautovic recalled against Huddersfield Town.

The debate rumbled on but the Huddersfield game could have offered some clarity in this selection dilemma.

While Arnautovic struggled to make an impact, Hernandez came off the bench to save West Ham and inspire a dramatic comeback.

Chicharito did what he does best; popping up in the box twice to score from close range and turn the game on its head.

After the game, West Ham fans returned to the Arnautovic vs. Chicharito debate but this time, there was a clear winner. Here are some things that were said.
