Striker Javier Hernandez has hit out at the ‘haters’ in the West Ham United fanbase after he missed Saturday’s draw with Leicester.
Some Hammers fans were not happy after pictures emerged allegedly showing Hernandez on a private jet to Italy last week.
It came after West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini had ruled the Mexican out of the Leicester clash with an ‘ear problem’ (whufc.com).
Some fans believe he should have been doing everything to make himself available to play. Or at the very least he should have stuck around to support his teammates.
A tweet from West Ham fan Anthony Hufton contained two pictures – believed to have been taken by the striker’s girlfriend – showing him on a private jet to Italy despite suffering with the ear problem.
Hernandez hits back at ‘haters’
Hernandez was subsequently absent for the draw against the Foxes.
And supporters made their feelings clear about the situation on social media.
But now Hernandez has hit back at the ‘haters’ in a post on his Instagram account.
‘You always know everything’
The message accompanied a selfie of the striker with what appears to be a swollen face on one side.
“Keep speaking haters, but wait you always know everything,” Hernandez wrote.
“Live your life and if you don’t enjoy yours then you need to do something about it. Have a great week people!”
The incident comes after the ineffectual forward showed disrespect for his manager and teammates with a public display of arrogance when he was substituted against Manchester United less than a fortnight ago.

Tantrums and Sombreros
Shaking his head and hitting out at Pellegrini as he left the field, moaning to his teammates on the bench, it was typical of Hernandez’s over-inflated opinion of himself.
The fact he showed plenty of respect to his old fans as he left the pitch and on social media only served to anger fans further.
Fans have grown tired of the striker’s little tantrums.
Mark Noble even revealed he had to speak to Hernandez about his poor attitude (Evening Standard).
