West Ham United midfielder Jack Wilshere has delivered an update on his latest injury scare.
Wilshere has looked sharp and super fit over the summer after missing most of his debut season with West Ham due to injury.
The former Arsenal star’s performances in pre-season have given West Ham fans renewed hope he could yet turn out to be a huge success.

Groundhog day for Wilshere and West Ham?
But just 56 minutes into the new season and Wilshere was nowhere to be seen.
Withdrawn before the hour by Manuel Pellegrini, many supporters were fearing Wilshere was injured yet again.
It appears Wilshere did indeed pick up a knock.

Midfielder speaks out over injury concerns
But the player himself told the likes of The Daily Mail that he will be fine.
“I’m fine,” Wilshere told The Daily Mail.
“That’s part of playing in the Premier League. You get kicks.
“I’ve got a dead leg but it will be gone soon.”

Prognosis is good for Pellegrini
Dead leg, also known as a thigh contusion or intermuscular injury keeps most athletes out for between two-three days.
If the injury is severe that can be more like two-three weeks.
Pellegrini may elect to exercise extra caution given the plethora of midfield options available to him in the attacking midfield role.
Wilshere should at the very least be fit for a place on the bench when West Ham travel to Brighton for the game at the weekend.
