It has not really clicked for Javier Hernandez at West Ham United yet and cryptic tweets appear to suggest he is feeling unloved.

The Mexican was signed for £16 million by Slaven Bilic last summer and was hailed as the striker West Ham had been crying out for.

But he spent most of last season on the bench or playing out of position.

When he did get his chance in his natural position, the Hammers were not built to provide Hernandez with the kind of service he thrives on.

He was linked with a move away in January and again during the summer (ESPN).

Manuel Pellegrini had other ideas, though, and made keeping hold of him a top priority (Daily Star).

Do cryptic tweets suggest Hernandez is feeling low?

He started the game against Bournemouth last time out and won the penalty which put the Hammers 1-0 up.

Hernandez did little else and was substituted on 67 minutes as the East Londoners surrendered the lead to lose 2-1.

It was an all too familiar tale for the ex Manchester United and Real Madrid striker.

And the plot seems to have thickened after he posted some cryptic tweets which suggested he is feeling low at the moment.

“Loneliness doesn’t change you,” Hernandez posted on Twitter with a picture sat alone.

“It only tells you who you are.

‘My fullness and my life no-one takes it from me’

“All those people who always support and send good vibes, thanks!

“All those people who are “hater”, thank you!

“But especially those people who admire something of me, thank you! Judge and interpret anything. My , my freedom, my fullness and my life no one takes it from me! Best regards!”

The messages sparked a series of responses from all over the world, many urging him to leave West Ham.

Some saw fans from his native Mexico criticising the striker after their World Cup disappointment.

There were also a small number of reactions from Hammers fans who will be hoping the striker lifts his mood to help West Ham find their form starting at Arsenal this weekend.
