West Ham have released two classic retro style kits to mark the 125th anniversary.
The away kit launched this weekend and the majority of fans seem relatively pleased with Umbro’s efforts for such an important milestone season.

West Ham launch 125th anniversary kits
West Ham fans love to see a bit of effort made with their kits. Whether they respect tradition, go retro or try to be original.
And according to anonymous Twitter and podcast personality ExWHUemployee, the new third strip sounds pretty special.
Ex revealed descriptions of the home and away kits long before they were officially released last month.
And he has now confirmed the forthcoming third strip will be black and gold, much like the classic Juventus change strip from five years ago.

Ex even goes as far to say that the third kit is the best of the lot.
“Third kit: Black with faded crossed irons in it, gold Betway and Umbro (logos),” ExWHUemployee said on Twitter.
“No collar, round neck. Badge has 125 years written underneath in gold and the crossed irons on badge are gold too, West Ham United and London are black and blend into the background of the badge!
“In my eyes it’s by far the nicest kit out the three.”

Release date unknown but expected sooner rather than later
It certainly sounds it.
West Ham fans will be hoping the new kits can inspire a better season next term.
It is not clear when the new kit will be announced or released.
But with the new campaign just six weeks away, that will surely be sooner rather than later.
