Speculation has been rife over Manuel Pellegrini’s team selection ahead of the clash with Sheffield United today.
For the majority of the season West Ham’s side has almost picked itself.
But so poor was the performance in the 2-0 defeat to Everton last time out, fans have been calling for changes.
Established stars let the club down at Goodison Park with Felipe Anderson and Manuel Lanzini bearing the brunt of the criticism.
And supporters are angry with the team for allowing a promising start to a wide-open season to fizzle out in typical fashion.

Fans want injection of high-flying youth
Many have called for some of West Ham’s young stars – currently romping to the Premier League 2 Division 2 title – to be given a chance in the first team.
But according to reliable West Ham insider ExWHUemployee that will not be happening for the visit of the Blades this afternoon.
The likes of Nathan Holland and Anthony Scully have been earning rave reviews for the Under 23s.
But both will be overlooked again according to Twitter and radio personality ExWHUemployee.

Insider says Pellegrini has resisted calls for duo
When asked by a host of fans whether Holland, Scully or any of the youngsters would be involved against Chris Wilder’s side, ExWHUemployee replied ‘No’ on all three counts.

But perhaps the biggest talking point came from his subtle suggestion that some established stars will be dropped.

Established stars face axe, could it be Lanzini and/or Anderson?
“Not all will no,” ExWHUemployee said when it was put to him that ‘all the highly paid, under performing players from last week will all start again’.

Lanzini and Anderson have taken the most flak in the aftermath of that defeat.
It is a culmination of frustration with their form while Pablo Fornals has also struggled too.
West Ham fans don’t have to wait long to find out.
