West Ham united boss David Moyes has completely changed his mind on selling Issa Diop in the summer transfer window.
That’s according to high-level Hammers insiders Claret and Hugh who claim that Moyes is now keen to keep Diop around after initially wanting to sell him to Fulham.

It appears as though Diop could be set to stay at the London Stadium though.
After arriving at the London Stadium in the summer of 2018 for around £25 million (The Express), Diop was one of the very best central defenders in the Premier League during his debut season.

The 25-year-old, who earns around £63k-a-week according to Football League FC, experienced a poor 2020/21 campaign though and was nowhere near his best last season either.
The 6ft 4in defender really hasn’t been great for West Ham at all over the past two years in all fairness.
But Moyes apparently stills sees something in him…
David Moyes performs Issa Diop U-turn
The Scot is now keen to keep the ex-Toulouse ace at the London Stadium according to high-level club insiders Claret and Hugh.
We have to say that, if true, this is a really strange one from Moyes.

Diop is now the fifth-choice West Ham centre-back, behind Nayef Aguerd, Kurt Zouma, Angelo Ogbonna and Craig Dawson in the pecking order.
As far as we’re concerned, he clearly isn’t good enough to be playing regular Premier League football – not for the Hammers anyway.
Fulham were said to have already offered £12 million for the centre-back (Claret and Hugh). We think that David Moyes should have sold Issa Diop for around that kind of fee. Perhaps we could have squeezed £15 million out of Fulham.
The 6ft 4in defender has played just 50 Premier League games under David Moyes in two-and-a-half years (Transfermarkt).
So keeping him around at the London Stadium would be a really strange move from the Scot this summer.
