West Ham left-back Arthur Masuaku is not happy with his current situation at the club, according to well-informed club insider ExWHUemployee.
The 26-year-old joined the Hammers from Olympiacos in the summer of 2016, for a fee believed to be worth £6 million, according to Sky Sports.
Masukau has made 81 appearances for West Ham. And he is very much a divisive character amongst the Hammers fanbase.
The Democratic Republic of Congo international excels when going forward. There are big questions marks hanging over his head regarding his defending, however.
The left-back hasn’t played for West Ham since October 19th. Manuel Pellegrini has opted for Aaron Cresswell instead for the last three games.
And ExWHUemployee claims that Masuaku is far from happy, having been left out of the Hammers squad for their last three games.
The West Ham ace is still under contract at the London Stadium until the summer of 2024. If the left-back isn’t given regular game-time between now and the end of the season, however, he might just have to reconsider his future in east London.
Whether Pellegrini will give him a fair chance though, remains to be seen.
