According to a report from Danish media outlet TV2, West Ham face somewhat of a stumbling block as they look to complete the signing of Frederik Alves rom Silkeborg with a potential work permit problem on the horizon.

The Hammers were first linked with a 10 million DKK (£1.2 million) move to sign the 20-year-old last month (Danish website Bold).
And now, according to a report from Danish media outlet BT, West Ham are very close to signing the Silkeborg centre-back.
He is currently thought to be in London ahead of a proposed medical.
But Danish media outlet TV2 claims that West Ham could face a problem and that a deal is far from being done with a potential work permit issue for Alves on the horizon.
The 20-year-old, who stands at 6ft 3in tall, has already made 50 senior appearances for Silkeborg (Transfermarkt).
He is a powerful and aerially commanding centre-back. The young Dane seems to have all of the attributes needed to succeed in the Premier League. And he would be a very interesting and exciting signing for West Ham.
Hopefully the alleged work permit concerns don’t end up derailing the Hammers’ deal to sign Alves.
For just £1.2 million he could end up being an absolute steal. As we are all only too aware, however, nothing is ever simple with West Ham. Fingers crossed there are no bumps in the road lying in wait for us.
