Liverpool won 2-0 in the Champions League final against Tottenham. Goals at either end of the game ensured the Reds picked up the Champions League trophy in Madrid.
Jurgen Klopp’s men took an early lead after Moussa Sissoko handled the ball within 30 seconds of the start. Mo Salah made no mistake from the spot, powering past Hugo Lloris.
After the early goal, the game failed to live up to expectations. But late in the game, Divock Origi sealed the victory. Joel Matip knocked the ball into Origi’s path and the Belgian striker was clinical with a low left-footed drive.
