The high-flying Hammers have been the talk of the Premier League in recent weeks.

JLingz elevates West Ham on and off the pitch

New signing Jesse Lingard is a popular character among his teammates as well as being a huge presence on social media.

And it seems he is having a big impact on and off the pitch.

Three goals and an assist in his first four games for West Ham tells its own story.

But he has already elevated West Ham’s status online too.

West Ham’s band celebration went viral over the weekend with people coining Lingard, Pablo Fornals, Declan Rice and Jarrod Bowen ‘Backstreet Moyes’.

Hammers celebration goes viral and makes it into McDonald’s advert

Video, pictures and gifs of the celebration have gone viral.

And West Ham know they must be doing something right after being used in a McDonald’s advert on Twitter.

The fast food giant posted a gif of West Ham’s Backstreet Moyes celebrating alongside a plug for its McChicken Sandwich.

“When you find out you can get a McChicken Sandwich for only 99p on the My McDonald’s App today,” McDonald’s posted on Twitter and it’s other social media channels.

It’s all fun and games and certainly does West Ham’s brand and profile no harm at all.

West Ham-burgers must make sure they’re the Big Macs come what May

West Ham’s media team as well as co-owners David Sullivan, David Gold and vice-chairman Karren Brady will be delighted with the increased exposure.

Now it is up to West Ham to make sure they are the Big Macs come what May.

That will not be easy given the difficult run of fixtures Moyes and his Hammers side are about to embark on.

But West Ham have already proved this season they are a match for most teams and have nothing to fear or lose.
