West Ham United star Felipe Anderson has sent a heartfelt message to teammate Pablo Zabaleta.
The Argentine veteran has become a firm fans’ favourite at West Ham since joining from Manchester City.
The 34-year-old signed a new one-year deal in the summer which he has since confirmed will be his last in English football.
Vice-captain to Mark Noble, Zabaleta’s influence at West Ham cannot be ignored.
Pablo brings up milestone in Newport win
And it is testament to his staying power that the midweek Carabao Cup win over Newport was his 400th game in England.
That is some achievement for a foreign player and 67 of them have come in the claret and blue.
Zabaleta captained West Ham to the 2-0 win on his milestone appearance.
Fans, pundits and his teammates were full of praise for the defender after the match.
And Felipe Anderson showed the high regard in which Zabaleta is held at West Ham with a message to his teammate on social media.
“Happy birthday (milestone) to my friend Pablo Zabaleta for his 400 games in English football,” Anderson told his fellow South American.
“It is an honour to play with you.”

A touching tribute to a man who will go down as a cult hero at West Ham when he does eventually call it a day at the end of the season.
Zabaleta influence should not be underestimated
It is also further proof of the excellent team spirit being fostered by Manuel Pellegrini.
Zabaleta may have had his best years at Manchester City.
But the hard work, determination, attitude, stamina and professionalism he has shown during his time in East London is a shining example to his teammates and young players emerging at the club.
Zabaleta’s influence in that West Ham dressing room should not be underestimated.
