When speaking on the West Ham Way podcast on Thursday night, ExWHUemployee suggested that there is a chance that the Hammers could tempt Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder into taking the manager’s job at the London Stadium this summer.

The 52-year-old Blades boss has worked wonders since taking over at Bramall Lane back in May 2016.
Wilder guided his side to the League One title in his first season in charge at Bramall Lane.
He then took them up to the Premier League after two seasons in the Championship, and they have really impressed upon their return to the top flight.
Sheffield United are currently sitting in eighth spot in the Premier League table. They are just two points adrift of sixth placed Wolves with two games still to play.
Revolutionary
Wilder has really taken the Premier League by storm. His ideas and philosophies have been ground-breaking. Yet, and probably because he is English, there has been little fanfare.
The Blades boss has implemented a system where his centre-backs overlap on either side in attacking positions – something that has never been seen before in English football.
Most West Ham fans would surely love to have the 52-year-old in place of David Moyes at the London Stadium.
And ExWHUemployee suggested that that is a real possibility, when speaking on the West Ham Way podcast on Thursday night (July 16th):
“Wilder at Sheffield United. I would say you might have more of a chance than you would probably believe on that one.”
Let’s not be too harsh to David Moyes here. It seems as though he has turned things around recently. But if we are being honest, the Scot will never take us to the next level.
Meanwhile, Chris Wilder undoubtedly could do that. And judging by Ex’s claim, there is more of a chance than you might think that the Blades boss will be in charge at West Ham next season.
