According to ExWHUemployee, West Ham have made an enquiry for Valencia centre-back Mouctar Diakhaby.

Having added Vladimir Coufal to his ranks, Hammers boss David Moyes will now be frantically trying to sign a central defender before the transfer window closes.
West Ham have been on the look-out for a new centre-back for the past month or so.
It seems as though we will miss out on James Tarkowski (Lancashire Telegraph).
And long-term target Daniele Rugani is now set to join Rennes according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
With time running out, David Moyes had better act fast.
And ExWHUemployee claimed that West Ham have now enquired about Valencia ace Mouctar Diakhaby, when speaking on the West Ham Way podcast last night (Thursday October 1st):
“Mouctar Diakhaby who plays for Valencia is another one who we have made an enquiry for.”
The 23-year-old joined Valencia from Lyon in the summer of 2018 for around £14 million (Club Valencia CF).
Stats
Diakhaby made 21 La Liga appearances for Valencia last season. In those outings, the Frenchman averaged 0.5 tackles, 0.5 interceptions, 3.5 clearances and 0.7 blocks per game. He also won an average of 1.8 aerial duals per match (Who Scored).
The 23-year-old is an extremely mobile defender with plenty of pace. He seems like he could be one for the future, but it may be risky to spend a lot of cash on someone who has no experience of playing Premier League football.
It seems as though we have bids in for defenders all over the place, however. So this one is far from close to being done.
