ExWHUemployee claims West Ham are interested in signing London-born Championship midfielder

ExWHUemployee claimed that Brentford midfielder Josh Dasilva could be on West Ham’s radar ahead of next Friday’s transfer deadline.

Hammers boss David Moyes has been left desperately short in central midfield.

We sold Josh Cullen and released Jack Wilshere on deadline day on Monday. And now our only cover for Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek is in the form of Mark Noble.

West Ham really need to bring in another player to provide competition and cover for those three players before the extended deadline next Friday.

And ExWHUemployee claimed that Bournemouth ace Josh Dasilva could be a target for Hammers boss David Moyes, when speaking on the West Ham Way podcast (Wednesday October 7th):

“Another player from Brentford we like is Josh Dasilva. He’s a good player, a central midfielder. He’s someone we have looked at. I don’t know how much we would be prepared to pay for him or if Brentford would be willing to sell him.”

Dasilva, 21, began his career with Arsenal. The Ilford-born midfielder is a very classy player and is currently part of the England under-21 setup.

The Brentford ace enjoyed a superb campaign last season. He racked up 10 goals and four assists in 45 Championship games from central midfield (Who Scored).

Dasilva has power, energy and stamina. He is also very technically gifted. And if West Ham manage to tempt the Bees into selling before next Friday, bringing the former Gunner to the London Stadium seems like an absolute no-brainer for David Moyes.
