ExWHUemployee has claimed on Twitter that West Ham boss David Moyes could opt to play Declan Rice at centre-back against Wolves next weekend, if Angelo Ogbonna misses the game through injury.

The Hammers are in real trouble at the moment. They are currently sitting in 16th spot in the Premier League table, just two points clear of 19th placed Aston Villa, having played a game more than Dean Smith’s side.
So Saturday’s clash with Wolves is hugely important for West Ham.
And they could be without one of their best players of the season so far.
Football.London claims Angelo Ogbonna could miss the game at the London Stadium due to injury.
With Fabian Balbuena having really struggled this season, that will be a major worry for Hammers fans.
And Goncalo Cardoso is surely too raw to play in game of such magnitude.
Issa Diop will be almost certain to start the match.
And ExWHUemployee has claimed that Declan Rice could slot back into central defence if the experienced Italian is in fact unavailable:
Yep there is definitely a chance https://t.co/fsxnb7LMAq

Rice is obviously more than capable of playing in defence. He has done so on many occasions in the past.
But the 21-year-old has exclusively played in central midfield over the past two seasons.
So he may be a bit rusty positionally if he were to be slotted into the centre-back role. And because of this, it will be a big risk for Moyes to move such an influential player into a different role in a game that his West Ham side simply must win.
