West Ham United boss Manuel Pellegrini is nursing a Premier League-worst injury list but the headache could be easing.
Going into the international break West Ham have nine players on the injury list.
Andriy Yarmolenko, Carlos Sanchez and Winston Reid are all out for the season.
Manuel Lanzini is also a major doubt to play again this term.
Pellegrini headache starting to ease?
Andy Carroll has sat out all the campaign so far after playing just 18 times last season.
Jack Wilshere too has rather predictably suffered with the injuries which have also defined his career.
Now Ryan Fredericks, unable to walk after the draw at Huddersfield, has been added to the seven-strong list.
Carroll and Wilshere back fit but can they stay fit?
There are signs, though, that Pellegrini’s headache is easing in time to boost the squad for a busy festive period.
The Chilean will be safe in the knowledge then that January is around the corner when he can dip into the transfer market to reinforce his squad.
Pellegrini himself has confirmed that BOTH Jack Wilshere and Andy Carroll will be ready to return to first team action after the international break (Sky Sports).
