Tottenham ace Sergio Reguilon suffered an injury when playing for Spain on Wednesday night and he is a doubt for next weekend’s clash with West Ham, according to the Daily Mail.
The 23-year-old joined Spurs from Real Madrid in September for around £30 million (Daily Mail). And he has already really impressed for Jose Mourinho’s side at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Reguilon has provided Tottenham with an entirely different threat down the left hand side. And he has already chalked up an assist in three games for Spurs (Transfermarkt).
Next up for Mourinho’s men is a home clash against West Ham next Sunday.
And the Daily Mail reckon that Reguilon is a doubt for that game. Spain boss Luis Enrique said:
“It is a blow that the doctors have to see. I hope it doesn’t get complicated.”
The Mail claims that Mourinho could be desperately disappointed if the Spaniard’s injury turns out to be anything like a serious one.
And West Ham’s task of taking a positive result away from north London will be made that little bit easier if Reguilon doesn’t play.
The 23-year-old former Real Madrid ace is clearly a star in the making.
And Tottenham having him unavailable for the game against the Hammers will obviously be a big blow for Jose Mourinho.
