The Hammers earned a vital three points against the Eagles last night.
The 3-2 scoreline ended up massively flattering Palace.
West Ham could and should have won by at least four goals.
The Hammers players’ profligacy in front of goal nearly cost them in the end.

The chief culprit on the night was Michail Antonio. The 30-year-old worked his socks of as usual but it just wasn’t his night in front of goal.
The former Nottingham Forest ace missed two absolute sitters and had two or three more half chances as well.
On another night, Michy would have scored a hat-trick. It wasn’t to be, however.
West Ham left south London with all three points and that is all that matters in the end.

Michail Antonio had a night to forget
Declan Rice didn’t miss the chance to poke fun at his teammate after the match.
The 22-year-old took to Twitter and aimed a light-hearted jibe at Michail Antonio after West Ham United’s win over Crystal Palace:
Even when Antonio doesn’t score, he is so important to the way that West Ham function as a team.
The goals will come eventually, that’s for sure.
For now though, it’s just great to have Michy back in the team. Let’s just hope that he remains fit between now and the end of the season.
