West Ham star Declan Rice has admitted his frustration with West Ham’s failure to move into seventh place, the club’s official website reports.
On several occasions this season, West Ham have spurned the opportunity to move into the Europa League qualifying spot in the Premier League.
The Hammers were once again handed a golden chance to move up to seventh on Saturday after Wolves and Watford both lost.
But instead, West Ham produced a terrible performance at home to Everton and dropped into the bottom half of the Premier League table.
This is starting to frustrate Rice, whose individual performance was not matched by his team-mates.

Rice once again rued West Ham’s inability to capitalise on their rivals’ losses and move up to seventh.
The 20-year-old told whufc.com: “It’s been an up and down season. We had a bad start, then gained some form and it’s been like that.
“With the squad we’ve got we should be [aiming for] seventh and every chance we’ve had to move seventh we’ve lost and ruined that opportunity. We need to do better.”
West Ham have six games left to play and currently sit 11th, although two points separate Manuel Pellegrini’s men from seventh.
But while seventh is within touching distance, West Ham face a major battle to achieve that spot, especially on current form.
Wolves have a game in hand to move five clear of the Irons, while Watford, Everton and Leicester City are also battling for seventh spot.
