David Moyes has admitted that he is majorly concerned by the fitness of Ryan Fredericks ahead of West Ham United’s clash with Leeds tomorrow.
The Hammers head to Elland Road to take on the Whites in the three o’clock Premier League kick-off.
West Ham beat Leeds away and at the London Stadium last season.
Moyes will fancy his chances of guiding his side to another win in West Yorkshire tomorrow.
Leeds have plenty of key players missing whilst West Ham have pretty much a full strength squad to choose from.
Moyes does have one man unavailable, however.
David Moyes majorly concerned by Ryan Fredericks
The 28-year-old has been really impressive for the Hammers this season. He was superb against Dinamo Zagreb away and was brilliant during the first 10 minutes or so against Manchester United on Wednesday night before going off injured.
And Moyes suggested that is is majorly concerned by Fredericks’ injury, as quoted by Football.London:
“Fredericks is the only player we have major concerns over, he felt his groin and he won’t be fit for this game.”
Fredericks was all but written off at the start of this season.
He proved so many people wrong with his last two performances, however. So losing the 28-year-old to injury is a big blow for West Ham and David Moyes.
Fredericks is one of the fastest players in the game:
Let’s hope that Fredericks’ injury isn’t too serious and that he is back in action sooner rather than later.
