West Ham United boss David Moyes is sceptical over the recent reports of a takeover.
West Ham board rift between co-owners and over Diangana?
Speculation has been rife that a takeover could be on the cards in east London (The Guardian).
The Guardian reports that West Ham rejected two approaches for the club last month from the US, the latest an offer of £400 million.

Improved third takeover bid on the way next month – report
And the report claims the mystery bidders will return next month with an improved third bid in the hope hugely unpopular owners David Sullivan and David Gold will sell.
West Ham fans have been excited by talk of new owners.
The relationship between Hammers supporters and the club’s hierarchy looks beyond repair.
But West Ham fans have also been sceptical over the takeover talk.

Moyes casts doubt over West Ham takeover talk
Now David Moyes himself has spoken out on the rumours (Claret & Hugh).
And the Scot told the press he too has doubts over whether the rumours are true.
“That’s a really difficult question for me to answer because I don’t know of any takeover,” Moyes told the press when asked about the situation (Claret & Hugh).
“I’ve not been informed of any (takeover).
“I can’t really answer that. I know nothing about it. Nobody’s indicated to me that there’s any truth at all in it.”

Not what West Ham fans wanted to hear
That is not what most West Ham fans want to hear.
Of course it could be that Moyes is just being kept in the dark over the club’s future.
New owners usually get their own man in following takeovers.
And given Moyes’s dismal record of just five wins in 21 Premier League games since returning to the club at the turn of the year, a takeover would not bode well for him.
