The Hammers boss seems as though he could be placing a lot of faith in youth over the next few years.
Felipe Anderson has left the London Stadium along with Fabian Balbuena whilst Andriy Yarmolenko could soon be following suit.

Meanwhile, the only players West Ham have signed this summer are youth players – Levi Laing, Pierre Ekwah Elimby and Thierry Nevers.
The Hammers squad is stretched to the limit at the moment.
David Moyes drops youth hint ahead of new Premier League season
The West Ham boss spoke to the club’s official website and urged some of the youngsters to step up and impress during pre-season:

“A lot of the players who we will use are away and we’re not going to get them back [for a while], but in the same breath we’re trying to make sure we get everyone else in good condition and ready to go, and if some of the young players can show up in that time that’s great.”
Aside from the new arrivals, West Ham really do have a talented crop of young players.
Aji Alese, Jamal Baptiste, Mipo Odubeko, Harrison Ashby, Kai Corbett and Emmanuel Longelo are all highly rated.
This season may well come too soon for them. But the future is certainly bright nonetheless.
