West Ham boss David Moyes raved about Manchester United ace Bruno Fernandes when speaking to reporters today, as quoted by Football.London.
The 26-year-old moved to Old Trafford in January 2020 for a fee that could eventually rise to around £60 million according to the Sun.
Fernandes has been an incredible success at Manchester United with a staggering 30 goals and 20 assists to his name in 55 games thus far (Transfermarkt).
Moyes knows just how much Fernandes can hurt his West Ham team.
The Portugal international helped change the game for Man United when he came on as a second-half substitute against West Ham at the London Stadium not too long ago.
The former Sporting Lisbon ace is arguably now Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s most important player.
David Moyes raves about Manchester United superstar Bruno Fernandes
West Ham will have to keep the 26-year-old quiet tomorrow night if we are to have any chance whatsoever of progressing through to the next round of the FA Cup.
And Moyes let it be known just how much of a threat Fernandes could pose his West Ham team tomorrow night, as quoted by Football.London:
“Bruno Fernandes has given them another dimension completely. They have had really talented players prior to that but he orchestrates most of their good play.”
Moyes isn’t wrong.
Fernandes has been arguably THE standout player in the Premier League this season.
Hopefully the West Ham boss has a plan to deal with the Portuguese ace tomorrow night.
If the Hammers keep Bruno Fernandes quiet, we have a chance of winning the game.
