West Ham midfielder Josh Cullen scored his first goal of the season at the weekend to help Charlton Athletic to victory.
Charlton recorded back-to-back victories with the help of Cullen. The midfielder doubled the visitors’ lead away at Gillingham on Saturday.
Cullen is not renowned for his goalscoring but he would be delighted to get off the mark for Charlton. The 23-year-old slotted in from close-range to score just his second career goal in over 100 games.
But with five assists to his name this season, Cullen has thoroughly impressed. His tenacity and ball retention have earned him plenty of admirers in South London.

The Republic of Ireland international is now in his fourth loan spell away from West Ham after two stints with Bradford City and a period of time at Bolton Wanderers.
Cullen has nine West Ham games under his belt and he will hope his performances this season have caught Manuel Pellegrini’s eye.
Charlton fans were raving about Cullen on Twitter after he scored his first goal. Here are some of the best tweets from Addicks supporters.
