‘Blown his chance’ – West Ham fans react as Lucas Perez is left out of training camp

Lucas Perez was left out of West Ham’s first-team squad during the recent training camp, according to a reliable insider on Twitter.

EXWHUEmployee tweeted to reveal that Perez was left out of the trip to Spain because of his attitude problems.

He also added that Samir Nasri did not travel with the rest of the group because of an injury.

But West Ham fans were not impressed with Perez, who has been training with the under-23 squad this week.

Because West Ham did not have a game during the FA Cup weekend, Manuel Pellegrini opted to take his squad to Marbella to train.

However, Perez stayed in England and EXWHUEmployee revealed that this could put his West Ham future in doubt.

The 30-year-old has scored five goals in 14 games for the Hammers since his summer move from Arsenal, although only two of those have been in the league.

And a combination of limited game time and a poor attitude could lead to Pellegrini axing the Spaniard on a permanent basis next summer.
