Hammers boss David Moyes will be desperate to bring a top class left-back to his ranks at the London Stadium this summer.

And whilst the need might not be quite as pressing, Frank Lampard will surely want to do the same at Stamford Bridge.

According to a report from Football.London, West Ham are keen to sign Kurzawa, as Moyes looks to upgrade on Aaron Cresswell and Arthur Masuaku.

But France Football are now claiming that Chelsea could steal the 13-capped France international. And with the west London outfit now in the running for the 27-year-old, the Hammers really will have their work cut-out if they are to sign him this summer.

FC Inter news claims that the 27-year-old will demand wages in the region of £100,000 per week.

And considering the fact that Kurzawa will be available on a free transfer, that salary should be no problem for Chelsea. West Ham may struggle to offer him that kind of cash, however.

Stats

The 27-year-old is a top talent, and in 14 Ligue 1 outings for PSG this season, he has averaged 1.6 tackles, 1.3 interceptions and 1.1 clearances (Who Scored).

Kurzawa is a real threat going forward. He has 21 assists and 13 goals in 123 appearances for PSG (Transfermarkt).

The Frenchman will be a very useful addition for either Chelsea or West Ham. That is in spite of having his attitude called into to question on more than one occasion.

If we’re are being honest as West Ham fans, however, there will be only one winner for Kurzawa’s signature. If Chelsea are indeed in the race, the 27-year-old PSG ace will find it very hard to turn down a move to Stamford Bridge this summer.
