According to a report from Italian media outlet Corriere dello Sport, the agent of Cagliari midfield ace Nahitan Nandez is pushing his client towards a move to Arsenal in spite of interest from West Ham.

Tutto Mercato Web claimed back in January that the Hammers wanted to sign the 31-capped Uruguay international on loan with an option to buy for £34 million.
That obviously didn’t happen, however.
And now it seems as though West Ham could miss out on Nandez to Arsenal.
David Moyes has already strengthened his central midfield ranks at the London Stadium by signing Tomas Soucek permanently. But with Carlos Sanchez having left and Mark Noble on the wrong side of 33, another midfield addition would be a wise move from the Hammers boss.
And Nandez might have been the ideal option for the east London outfit.
Stats
In 34 Serie A games for Cagliari this season, the 24-year-old has racked up two goals and three assists (Who Scored).
In those outings, the Uruguayan has averaged 1.7 tackles, 0.7 interceptions and 1.3 dribbles. He has also averaged 33 passes per match with a completion rate of 80% (Who Scored).
According to Corriere dello Sport, however, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is in prime position to being Nandez to the Emirates.
And that will obviously spell bad news for West Ham and David Moyes.
