As West Ham United continue to struggle for an end product loan star Nikola Vlasic does it again with an assist in a win over Milan.
Another away game and another frustrating, profligate performance from West Ham following a 1-0 defeat to Man United at Old Trafford.
It has been an unwelcome theme of West Ham’s season so far starting at Nottingham Forest and prevalent at Everton, Chelsea, Southampton, Liverpool and now Old Trafford too.
The Hammers have been the most wasteful team in the Premier League this season in terms of big chances converted.

Many blame David Moyes for setting up the side too negatively at the start of matches, especially against the established elite clubs.
It was the same old story at Old Trafford as West Ham did not truly have a go until they were trailing. When they did they were either typically wasteful, lacking composure or found David De Gea in inspired form.
Fans were once again left feeling frustrated and asking the question why West Ham cannot play on the front foot – as they did when chasing the game in the second half – from the start of matches.
Pundits Louis Saha and Jamie Redknapp questioned whether West Ham have enough creative talent in their side after the defeat.
Redknapp says West Ham have no flow to their attacking play as a result of a midfield that no longer works due to Tomas Soucek.

Saha added that Said Benrahma was the only West Ham player capable of making something happen, remarking that it’s ‘not enough’.
Moyes admitted once again after the game that West Ham are missing ‘that final bit, that final pass or finish’ that will make all the difference.
And as West Ham continue to struggle for end product loan star Nikola Vlasic does it again with an assist in a win over Milan.
The Croatian failed to establish himself at West Ham under Moyes last season following a £26m move.
And he was shipped out on loan to Serie A side Torino this summer with the Italian club also having the option to make the move permanent.
Many West Ham fans felt Vlasic was not given a fair crack of the whip in his preferred central number 10 role.
Vlasic’s performances in that very role on loan at Torino are giving credence to that theory.
It has been a hugely positive loan spell in Italy thus far for Vlasic. So much so Torino and Milan are said to want to sign him on a permanent basis.

The on loan Hammer has scored three Serie A goals already this season and has been in good form for Croatia too.
He was at it again on Sunday as he laid on a superb back-heeled assist in a 2-1 victory over AC Milan.
Torino led 1-0 when West Ham loan star Vlasic, under pressure on the edge of the box, turned a knockdown from a long ball into a goal with a clever controlled back heel pass perfectly into the path of Aleksei Miranchuk who made it 2-0.
It’s no use crying over spilt milk, but have West Ham perhaps been too hasty shipping a younger player like Vlasic out in light of our huge problems creating and scoring goals this season?
Speaking last month, Vlasic said he feels ‘free and trusted again’ after leaving West Ham for Torino.
