Simon Jordan has suggested that David Moyes is nowhere near done as West Ham manager, but highlighted how the Scot cannot use a lack of financial backing as an excuse.
The Hammers have made a truly atrocious start to the 2022/23 Premier League campaign and are currently marooned inside the bottom three.
West Ham just haven’t clicked yet and Moyes has been suggesting that it will take some time for all of his new signings to settle into life at the London Stadium.

The 59-year-old brought eight new faces into the club to the tune of around £170 million in the summer transfer window.
As things stand though, the Scot has been putting way too much faith in the players who have been at the London Stadium for years. And those same players are letting him down week in, week out.
The pressure is certainly building on Moyes…
David Moyes feeling the heat at West Ham
Simon Jordan was speaking to talkSPORT yesterday about Moyes’s current struggles in charge of the Hammers.
West Ham have won one, drawn one and lost FIVE of our first seven Premier League games.
Anything other than a win at home to Wolves tomorrow will see us stay inside the bottom three in the table.
The onus really is on Moyes to turn things around and drag his side out of the mess that they currently find themselves in.
Jordan said:

You’re always going to be a victim of previous deeds. Or you’re going to be a beneficiary of them. Beneficiary means that you get a new contract and a big bag of money whilst victim tends to be that you have to keep those standards up, nothing lasts for ever. As an owner, you will know when a manager is done, but David Moyes is far from done. He’s far from beaten. It’s not great (one win from seven Premier League games) and of course it can’t come at a worse time for David because he can’t, not that he does, he cannot suggest that he hasn’t been supported.
Time is ticking for Moyes.
These next two Premier League games against Wolves and Fulham will be absolutely vital for us. Nothing less than six points will do, if we are to achieve a successful Premier League campaign.
West Ham boss David Moyes has to ring the changes for tomorrow’s clash with Wolves. The same tried and tested methods are just not working anymore. And that goes for both team selection and tactics.
As Jordan said, Moyes is far from done.
The Scot needs to start producing results sooner rather than later though, there is no doubt about that.
