West Ham United fans are revelling in the signing of striker Sebastien Haller.

West Ham confirmed the club record signing on Wednesday for a club record fee, believed to be £45million.

After failing to land Celta Vigo star Maxi Gomez Manuel Pellegrini turned his attentions to 6ft 3in Haller.

And he got his man as the impressive business conducted by the Hammers since the arrival of the Chilean and director of football Mario Husillos continues.

Pellegrini finally gets his man

Haller will join up with his new teammates when they return from the Asia Trophy in China next week.

In the meantime the Frenchman is being kept busy with the inevitable media commitments after his big move.

First up was his interview with the official site where he explained West Ham’s desire to sign him was a key factor in joining.

“I think it’s a really good opportunity for me to be here,” Haller told whufc.com.

“It means a lot (to be the record signing). It proves that the club (has) really wanted me for a long time. I felt this desire to sign me and I’m really happy to sign, also. it is an ambitious club, a nice club, a nice city and nice fans too.”

Haller also took part in his first West Ham photoshoot.

Striker gets stuck into media commitments

The club has used a couple of the pictures on the official website.

But below you can see all 24 pictures of Haller as he is unveiled as West Ham’s latest signing wearing all three of next season’s new Umbro strips.

The pictures also show the striker going through his West Ham medical. And most importantly his first picture doing the crossed Hammers and with a ball at his feet.

The images will undoubtedly become many a fans’ phone wallpaper.
