West Ham earned a vital three points against Wolves at the London Stadium last night. And assistant manager Alan Irvine took the time to praise Lukasz Fabianski and the five defenders in front of the Pole after the game, as quoted by Football.London.

The Hammers looked far more organised at the back last night than they have done in recent weeks.
The new system that David Moyes has deployed is essentially a 5-4-1 when we are defending. And that changes into a 3-4-3 when we are attacking.
Fabianski looked calm and assured between the sticks against Wolves. And Angelo Ogbonna, Fabian Balbuena and Aaron Cresswell worked wonderfully well in tandem, keeping the likes of Raul Jimenez and Pedro Neto at bay.
In the wing-back positions, Arthur Masuaku and Ryan Fredericks shone for West Ham. They provided solid cover defensively and at the same time looked to be a real threat going forward.
Alan Irvine spoke to reporters after the game and praised all six players for their performances, as quoted by Football.London:
“Yep, last season our goals scored column would have got us quite high up the league but our goals against column was nowhere near good enough. That meant a lot to Lukasz and to the defenders who I thought were outstanding, the way they worked as a unit was fantastic so they will be thrilled. It will also give us an opportunity to do some more work with them!”
Things are now looking u for West Ham. We play Everton away in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup later this week before travelling to Leicester City on Sunday for another huge Premier League game.
And with our new found system and solidarity at the back, we have every chance of keeping our winning run going.
