According to a report from Sky Sports, alleged West Ham target Eberechi Eze dreams of a move to Arsenal – the club he has supported since he was a young boy.
In other news…Insider claims West Ham want to sign England international who openly criticised Moyes
Hammers boss David Moyes has been chasing the talented 22-year-old since January (The Sun).
The Scot will be keen to bolster his attacking midfield ranks this summer, with Manuel Lanzini, Felipe Anderson, Andriy Yarmolenko and Jack Wilshere all allegedly up for sale (ExWHUemployee).
And with this in mind, Eze would have been the perfect summer addition for West Ham.
ExWHUemployee claimed a few weeks back that David Moyes is a big fan of the young star.
The 22-year-old has racked up 14 goals and eight assists in 46 Championship outings for QPR (Transfermarkt).
In those outings, Eze has averaged 2.2 shots, 1.8 key passes and three dribbles per game (Who Scored).
The east London outfit already face strong competition for the attacking midfielder’s signature from Crystal Palace and Tottenham (The Athletic).
But Sky Sports’ claim that Eze dreams of joining Arsenal might just throw another spanner in the works for the Hammers.
Gunners boss Mikel Arteta hasn’t been linked with a move to bring the 22-year-old to the Emirates…yet.
If it is indeed Eze’s dream to join Arsenal, however, it would be no surprise to see the north London giants take advantage of that this summer.
And if Arteta does join the race to sign the QPR starlet, West Ham could really have their work cut-out.
Eze is a dream signing for the Hammers. But it seems as though the 22-year-old talent has a dream of his own. And unfortunately for David Moyes, said dream involves Arsenal…
