Chesters shines for West Ham during pre-season friendly
The Hammers played two friendly games last night – one away at Ipswich Town and one away at Boreham Wood.
In general, there were more first-team players at the Ipswich game, so Chesters’ inclusion in that squad tells us all we need to know about what Moyes thinks of him.
The 20-year-old actually started the match and played the full 90 minutes.
In my opinion, he was our man of the match and caused the Ipswich defenders all sorts of problems all night long.

He showcased his impressive pace and power and looked like he has developed a lot from last season.
Chesters scored the winning goal for West Ham as well. What a big statement that was from the young Hammers attacker.
It seems as though we have a seriously good young player on our hands and wouldn’t it be great to see him feature regularly for the first-team this season.
