This week has been really quite and I am planning my walk in Ireland, it will be 30 miles in 3 days and it is special because it is for my great granny who died from cancer.
My total is now £105,000 and there is still a lot of money to come in from my February walk.  Most of my fund raising money is donated on Justgiving and I found out that I have been short listed for Justgiving Young Fundraiser of The Year .  I am very excited because I need to go to the award ceremony in London on 11th April 2013.  There are 4 people in my category and some are very good, I don’t think I will win but it is nice to be nominated.
The award show is the same day that I need to go to Wembley Stadium for the annual Bobby Moore Fund Thank You Lunch and I sometimes on stage to the people who go to this event.
I also found out that I need to go to Dartford Council because the Mayor wants to give me a Medal for Services to Charity.  It’s nice to get awards because the newspapers like to tell the story and it helps raise awareness about bowel cancer.
I am still working hard with my mum to organise some other events and there are lots of people helping me.  There was an event when my walk was happening and I went to speak about my charity work.  I had walked 44 miles and I was tired by Galey and Cottee were there and they were helping me to fund raise more.  They are really kind and they help me a lot.   I do have lots of fun with my charity work but I do still play Xbox with my friends, play tennis and go to football training.
One time I was the only kid to turn up to football training and it was snowing.  A big coach pulled up and the Scunthorpe United first team was on it.  They came to use the training ground before a game against Milwall.  I was watching the players get off the coach and Freddy Sears saw me in my West Ham United kit.  He came to speak to me and I ended up training with Scunthorpe and going on the team coach.  Freddy also gave me tickets to watch him play that day.
