West Ham goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski was denied his second clean sheet of the season at the death last night.

The Hammers were moments away from claiming a famous victory, but a late deflected goal cost them a win.

West Ham had led 1-0 against Leicester City courtesy of Fabian Balbuena’s first goal for the club.

But Mark Noble’s 37th minute red card ensured West Ham had an uphill struggle in their quest to hold onto the three points.

The Irons were so close to seeing out the game, but Wilfred Ndidi’s speculative long-range strike took a cruel deflection and ended up in the net in the 89th minute.

Fabianski played a crucial role in keeping Leicester out for most of the game.

The 33-year-old, a summer signing from Swansea City, has been excellent all season and he made a string of fine saves to keep West Ham ahead.
