West Ham lost 2-0 for the second game on the bounce since the Premier League restart.

It was also West Ham’s third defeat in a row.

The result leaves Moyes’s side 17th in the table, out of the relegation zone by virtue of goal difference.

Brighton have pulled themselves six points clear and now the teams around West Ham all have a game in hand this week.

West Ham fans did not want Moyes back at the club when Manuel Pellegrini was sacked.

And his dismal record shows why.

The Scot has seen his tactics, team selection and game management seriously questioned by Hammers supporters.

Former West Ham star Hartson has made it clear previously he is not a fan of Moyes.

Hartson told talkSPORT Moyes was ‘lucky’ to be Hammers boss when he was reappointed at the turn of the year.

The fan favourite said West Ham should have gone elsewhere for a new manager.

And after the defeat to Spurs Hartson was not pulling any punches, pointing out Moyes’s abysmal record at his old club.

West Ham have won two Premier League games in 12 under Moyes,” Hartson said on Twitter.

“That form is extremely worrying if you are a Hammers fan. #relegationform.”

Stats show Moyes is worst West Ham manager ever

In fact Moyes has the lowest winning percentage in the history of West Ham managers with more than one game under their belt (21.43%).

The appointment still rankles with supporters in the wake of seemingly more ambitious and progressive ones at the likes of Leicester and Everton with Brendan Rodgers and Carlo Ancelotti at the helm.

As if that was not enough, West Ham’s owners have told Claret & Hugh that Moyes is guaranteed a job next season regardless of the club’s relegation fate.
