Said Benrahma has proven to be a superb addition for West Ham since joining the club in October.

The 25-year-old ended up joining he Hammers on a permanent £25 million deal last month, having spent the previous three months at the London Stadium on loan (Eurosport).
The silky Algerian has four assists to his name in 15 games for West Ham so far.
He is still waiting for his first goal but that will come.

Perhaps the most impressive thing about Said Benrahma has been his incredible work-rate since moving to the London Stadium.
Said Benrahma stat will blow your minds
David Moyes touched on the winger’s impressive work-rate when speaking to the Evening Standard yesterday:
“It’s something I’m continually talking to him about. I’ve had a bit of a laugh with him because I’m saying to him ‘I didn’t realise I’d signed a really hard-working midfield player who runs and closes down and does all the defensive duties’ as well he does do. I said ‘I thought we got someone for assists and goal making and all those things’. They’re the bits which I think he’s probably needed to improve on. The other part of his game has been excellent. It really has been and that for me has been really important. I want team players here. I don’t want individuals.”
And Moyes’s comments have been backed up by a truly incredible stat.
The Athletic released the below statistic displayed in a graph format highlighting the midfield players who have covered the most ground in the Premier League this season:
Not only has the Algerian covered more ground than any other Premier League midfielder per 90 minutes, but he isn’t ambling around doing it either.
The 25-year-old is above average in the total accelerations per 90 minutes category as well.
For someone who is supposed to be a mercurial play-maker and arguably somewhat of a luxury, the fact that he covers more than 11km per 90 minutes really is quite something.

West Ham are lucky to have Said Benrahma. He is a truly elite player – someone who can win us games at the drop of a hat.
The Algerian is clearly prepared to put in the hard yards as well.
And it is not too often we have been able to say that about our supremely talented players throughout the years.
£25 million for Benrahma could end up looking like an absolute steal for the Hammers.
