Some West Ham United fans want a first team call-up for the lowest profile of all their summer signings, Xande Silva.
It comes after the new-look Hammers were thumped 4-0 on the opening day at Liverpool.
Despite bringing in Manuel Pellegrini and spending £100 million in the summer West Ham do not look a quick fix.
In mitigation Liverpool will do that to better teams than West Ham this season.

Fans already want hat-trick hero in first team
But there was a glimmer of hope from one summer capture, Xande Silva, on Monday night.
Many want to see him drafted straight into the first team picture.
Which prompted the question as to whether he had been given a squad number and included in Pellegrini’s 25 players submitted to the Premier League.
Supporters found the confirmed squad list online and posted it on social media but Silva’s name did not feature.
But rest assured – if deemed ready – West Ham will be able to call on the Portuguese starlet.
Premier League squad rules explained
At present, Premier League clubs are allowed a maximum of 25 players in their first-team squad.
If teams want to take full advantage of that maximum player allowance, eight of them must be homegrown.
‘Home Grown’ simply means that a player must have been on the books of a club affiliated with the Football Association for at least three years before they turn 21 – it does not mean that they have to be English.
Having only signed two weeks ago, Silva does not fit into this category.
But another important caveat is that teams can use as many under-21 players as they like in addition to their main squad, regardless of nationality.
So there might be a Silva lining after all.
