West Ham’s teenage sensation Amadou Diallo has been recognised as one of the best young players in the country.

FourFourTwo have recently teamed up with Youth Hawk to run a feature on the top 50 teenagers playing in England at the moment.

And Diallo has made the list, albeit in 50th place. This is testament to just how promising the youngster is.

Diallo comes in at number 50 on FourFourTwo’s list and is the only Hammers teenager included in this feature. But the 16-year-old is the second youngest player to feature in the top 50.

He is described in this piece with these flattering words: “The two-footed Diallo is a keen dribbler with a dangerous shot, and is one to watch very closely indeed.”

They also note that he is an attacking midfielder who has been impressing for the under-23 team while preparing to take his GCSE exams.

Diallo is still classed as a schoolboy rather than a full academy player but he made his under-18 debut aged just 14.

This season, he broke into the under-23 team as a 15-year-old and already has two goals in three matches at that level.

The England under-16 international is a seriously exciting talent and he could be the next big thing at West Ham.
