West Ham teenager Kai Corbett helped fire the U17 team to the semi-finals of the 2019 Generation Adidas Cup with yet another goal.
The young Hammers are in Texas competing in one of the most prestigious youth tournaments and they are now in the semi-finals.
West Ham beat LA Galaxy in extra-time to progress through their tricky quarter-final clash. Corbett opened the scoring but the game ended 1-1 in normal time.
But with the match heading to penalties, Kamarai Simon-Swyer headed in West Ham’s winner to knock the American team out.
It was Corbett who once again stood out in the match and he looks like he has a very bright future ahead of him.

Who is Kai Corbett?
Corbett took his tally to four goals in four matches at this tournament. The 16-year-old scored the winning goals in 1-0 victories over Club America (Mexico) and New York Red Bulls (USA) in the group stage of the competition.
And then the teenage sensation found the net again against host club FC Dallas as West Ham won 2-1 in their final group match.
Corbett made it four in four when he opened the scoring in the quarter-final. He tapped in a rebound after Gael Kileba’s shot was saved.
All eyes will now be on Corbett and his U17 team-mates as they face Seattle Sounders in Thursday evening’s semi-final. If the young Irons win their semi-final, then a clash with Dinamo Zagreb or Valencia awaits in the final.
After a successful trip with the U17 team, Corbett’s next challenge will be to nail down a spot in the U18 side. He has made six substitute appearances for the U18s, registering one assist.
But if he continues to improve at this rate, Corbett could enjoy a rapid rise through the academy system and be West Ham’s star for the future.
