Back in January, Marko Arnautovic nearly left West Ham. First reported by talkSPORT, Arnautovic wanted to leave West Ham for the riches of China.
Several Chinese Super League clubs were interested and this transfer saga lasted a couple of weeks. According to The Times, Shanghai SIPG were one of the teams keen on a £45m move for Arnautovic.
But the 30-year-old was not granted his wish. Instead, he remained at West Ham and signed a new contract. Initially, his form dipped but he finished the season strongly for West Ham.
Fresh Marko Arnautovic exit rumours
But according to The Sun, the Hammers could cash in on Arnautovic for £30m. Inter Milan and Roma are reportedly interested in the Austria international.
Inter manager Antonio Conte sees Arnautovic as an alternative target to Romelu Lukaku or Edin Dzeko. Meanwhile, Roma could move if Dzeko completes his move to the San Siro.
The Arnautovic situation splits opinion among West Ham fans. There are some who believe he should stay while others think this is the time to cash in. Here are some of the best tweets.
Take the money and run. Only a matter of time before he throws he’s toys out the pram again.

Don’t see the point in letting him go, we’ve already missed out on our top striker target in Gomez, just missed out on our top midfielder target in Gomes, be silly to then offload arguably the best player ability wise at the club, another job we don’t need is replacing him

Pack his bags and drive him to the airport.

Make it 50mil and take the dough. When that blokes head goes in January again that’ll be the end of his season

I agree sell. He kicked up at stoke, did the same at West Ham and will do so again. Good player but it’s part of his dna.

I mean, it’s a good offer, but it’d leave us without any strikers if Hernandez leaves. I’d accept it but only if we sign two new strikers, and at least one of them needs to be significant (not a cut-price squad player).
