Jahmal Hector-Ingram will decide whether to stay at West Ham or leave in the coming days, according to trusted insider EXWHUEmployee.
West Ham have offered Hector-Ingram a new contract despite the fact that the striker only scored one goal for the U23 side last season. The Hammers have chosen to keep faith with the local lad, who was born in Upton Park and joined the club from a young age.
However, Hector-Ingram is considering leaving the club this summer. The 20-year-old has several offers from other clubs, including Crawley Town, and will make his decision soon.
Jahmal Hector-Ingram: Stay or go?
West Ham fans took to Twitter to discuss whether to keep Hector-Ingram or let him go. His goalscoring record for the U23 team did not exactly have him knocking on Manuel Pellegrini’s door.
Hector-Ingram turns 21 in November so this is a major decision. He really needs to be breaking into a team at senior level at this stage of his career. So perhaps an exit would be the best option.
Here are several tweets from West Ham fans who have been discussing Hector-Ingram’s future.
Needs to leave for his career, let him go to Crawley, put a buy back clause on him, sorted

He should leave

May as well loan him out to Crawley and if he smashes in loads of goals bring him back and give him a go. It didn’t harm defoe when he done it. We may as well get rid of Marcus Brown who for never scored enough whilst on loan at Oxford

Hope he stays 🤞🏻

Not being too harsh, but for his career he should leave. Nearly 21 and i don’t think he is anywhere near the team
