There is a huge West Ham boost from France as prime target Hugo Ekitike makes demand to PSG over a deadline day move.
As West Ham fans are well aware the club has been busy trying to sign a striker before the summer transfer window closes.
West Ham have been linked with PSG outcast Hugo Ekitike, Sevilla’s Youssef En-Nesyri, Brazilian trio Yuri Alberto, Pedro and Marcos Leonardo and Feyenoord’s Santiago Gimenez.
But Ekitike – a player West Ham tried to sign in January 2022 – has emerged as the most likely forward signing on deadline day following the collapse of a deal for Alberto and the withdrawal from a move for En-Nesyri.

Huge West Ham boost from France as prime target Hugo Ekitike makes demand to PSG over deadline day move
Hammers technical director Tim Steidten has reportedly held face-to-face talks with PSG and Ekitike in the last week or so.
Despite reportedly being impressed by what Steidten had to say during talks, Ekitike has since been linked with moves to Eintracht Frankfurt, AC Milan, Brentford and Crystal Palace.
It has been widely reported that PSG are trying to push Ekitike to join Frankfurt as part of their move to bring Randal Kolo Muani to Paris.
But there’s a huge West Ham boost from France as prime target Ekitike makes a demand to PSG over a deadline day move.

Ekitike tells PSG he wants Premier League move as Paris club “agree” straight cash move for Frankfurt man
Because not only has Ekitike rejected a third proposal from Frankfurt and told PSG he wants to move to the Premier League – as reported by Get French Football News.
But PSG have now reportedly agreed a deal for Muani which does not involve Ekitike going the other way – as reported by RMC Sport and L’Equipe.
This could be massive for West Ham’s hopes of signing Ekitike.
Whether they can now get a deal agreed with PSG – be it a loan with option/obligation or permanent – remains to be seen.
But the Hammers will have to act fast with Palace and Brentford also circling.
Over to you Tim!
