West Ham have been chasing the signing of Filip Kostic over the past few days.

And now Sean Whetstone – a reporter with close links to David Sullivan – has provided an update on West Ham United’s race to sign Filip Kostic from Juve.

The East London outfit have been strongly linked with a £20 million move to sign the 30-year-old recently.

Hammers boss David Moyes has overseen a terrific window at the London Stadium this summer, with the additions of four brilliant new players.

However, he’s far from done just yet, with plenty more names being linked with us on transfer deadline day. The addition of Kostic would be the cherry on the cake for West Ham.

Sean Whetstone has taken to Twitter to share some news on our pursuit of the Serbian.

He tweeted:

Let’s hope that Moyes manages to pull something out the bag on deadline day.

Kostic really would take this West Ham team to a whole new level entirely.

Hopefully the Hammers manage to strike a deal for the 30-year-old before tonight’s 11pm deadline, even if that’s just a loan with an option to buy.

Just one more signing would make this already impressive transfer window a truly sensational one.
