According to The Chronicle, West Ham and Newcastle United are battling with Lazio for Wesley Moraes.
Club Brugge striker Wesley could be set for a summer move. After impressing in Belgium, the Brazilian striker is being linked with a Premier League switch.
West Ham and Newcastle both need strikers this summer. The Hammers could sell a few of their current forwards, including Javier Hernandez and Lucas Perez. Andy Carroll’s contract is up and he is likely to leave too.
Meanwhile, Newcastle need to replace Salomon Rondon if they cannot re-sign him. The West Brom loanee formed a strong partnership with exit-linked Ayoze Perez.

Wesley could be the answer for West Ham or Newcastle. The 22-year-old scored 17 goals for the Belgian top-flight side this season and provided 10 assists.
The 6ft 3in striker fits the bill as a physical and versatile striker. But he represents something of a gamble as he has only played senior football in Slovenia and Belgium.
West Ham fans took to Twitter to discuss these rumours. Here are the best tweets from Hammers fans.
I really like him, quick, powerful, but with good feet, if he’s under £20m I’d be shocked if G&S don’t go for him!
Rondon would be a great player for him to learn off if we were looking to add strength in depth…both of those for under £40m would be excellent— Steven McCarthy 🅥 (@StevenMcCarthy9) May 21, 2019
